It's all a growing

I've just popped a cover on the planter at the front of the house to give the tomatoes a bit of protection. The temperature is due to fall a bit tonight and though it won't be cold enough for a frost I think a bit of extra cover won't hurt. I've used stretch 'bungee' straps to make sure the cover doesn't fly off if it gets a bit windy.

The plants in the porch are coming along nicely and we have loads of tiny little cucumbers on the plants.  They are going to be lovely in a few weeks

This is a view from the front door. We don't ever use that door these days as we also have a door at the side of the house. It's an absolute sun trap there and a lovely place for a quiet read (not that I ever read noisily) :-)  or a cup of coffee before the rest of the world wakes up

And here's a little pic of the sitting room complete with indoor jungly effect. That mirror has made a huge difference to how much light is reflected into the room
