I'm cooking a seafood courgetti dish for tea tonight and I'm using up some of the fennel that has bolted. The 'non pithy' stalks are fine to use and the courser pithier ones have gone in the compost bin. Today's veg from the garden.. courgettes, purple sprouting broccoli, onions, garlic, chilli Florence fennel, kale and the other half of the cabbage that I picked yesterday. I am going to have a look and see whether there are any pea shoots worth harvesting and if so I will be adding them too.
