I'm making use of as much space as possible at the moment and next year I will plan it all a lot better. I've used a piece of corrugated plastic to create a cover for the planter. It now has a bungee strap on to protect it all from the wind
I've pushed a basil plant into the basket with some busy lizzies
There's a lovely lush parsley and some chives in the basket next to the back door
I also have a variety of peppers and chillies in large pots along the length of a wooden sleeper in the front garden. Next year I plan to make better use of the hanging and wall baskets and things. I'm thinking of growing the cucamelons in the baskets with a busy lizzie or two. I'd welcome suggestions for crops that will overwinter
It all looks wonderful and so very creative. xx
ReplyDeleteThe planter cover complete with bungee strap is fab Cherie! I like your drive through fruit trees. I always think rainbow chard looks super pretty over winter, but not sure how well it grows in a container (?). Lulu x
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't seem to have a huge root so a large pot would probably be fine.
