Lovely fresh peppers

Tony and I had Naan bread pizzas for lunch today.  I was delighted to be able to top them with our own home grown tomatoes  and two varieties of peppers. The tomatoes are still ripening from the ones I harvested and stored though I am having to throw some away as they've gone squishy. The peppers I cut straight from the plants that I'm overwintering in the bedroom. I am experimenting with the pepper plants and have left some alone and some I trimmed back. The untrimmed ones are producing loads of peppers though they are mostly green at the moment.  This little red bell pepper and the gorgeous long red Marconi had ripened beautifully though I don't think they are as sweet as the ones we had in the summer. Hopefully as the light levels pick up the flavour will improve.
