Well what a disappointment the White Wonders that I picked yesterday turned out to be. They looked perfect but when I took a bite they were as bitter as can be. I've never had a bitter cucumber before but a few years ago one of the tomatoes that I grew had really bitter fruit. I simply discarded that particular tomato plant but it will be such a shame if I have to discard the cucumber as it is smothered in fruit. On a happier note though my cucamelons are coming along great. It will be interesting to see what they taste like when they are ripe.
