Be careful what you wish for.

 Only the other day I was wishing it would rain... and it has hardly stopped since. The garden path is flooding and the lawn is completely sodden. But on the plus side I won't have to water for a while and we usually expect a lot of rain in July as that's how it's been for the past few years. I'd hoped to get out and sow some more carrots but until the water disappears off the path I won't be doing that. I've just stood some of my houseplants outside to get a good drenching.  They'll love it and it means I can dust and polish where they have been standing indoors... Whoopie do lucky domesticated me.
