Pumpkin flowers

I've never grown pumpkins before but had assumed the flowers would be the size of  courgette flowers. Imagine my surprise to find this gorgeous flower sneaking along the path at the back of the raised bed. The pumpkin is making a very rapid bid for freedom. I put my foot there to give you an idea of the size.

Tony and I shared our first tomato yesterday. It's from the Tiny Tim plants that I am growing which are surprising me by growing a heckuva lot bigger than I expected.

It was very tasty and had that lovely smell that you get on home grown tomatoes.

  1. Now that looks tasty Cherie. You can't beat a homegrown, sun warmed tomato. Did you have half each over a G&T ? Lulu x
