Indoor gardening

We keep hearing that houseplants are making a bit of a comeback and quite rightly too. In the depths of winter when the garden is too cold to wander around there's nothing betting than surrounding myself with my indoor garden..  The avocados that I grew from the pits have survived another year though they got a bit nipped back and desiccated. The leaves will probably drop off but it's nice to know that they will grow back again next year. I've moved some of the plants out from the conservatory this morning as it's getting a bit too cold in there for them. The sun streaming through the windows is spoiling the overall effect of the photo's but I am sure you can use your imagination.

The avocados are in the back row

I love the way the morning sun streams through the coloured glass in the kitchen doors.  There aren't any clear glass panels it's just the reflection from the window.

I'm really pleased with this little Monstera that I grew from a cutting. The little dragon tree was one I divided from a pot of three and it's coming along beautifully

One of our two bathrooms is also filled with plants. It really lifts our spirits to be surrounded by so much greenery.
