The hostas in my garden are just starting to push through the soil so this year I intend to eat them. This video shows how to cook them but you can also eat them raw. I'll try them both ways and let you know what I think. We have about ten or twelve different varieties so I'll see if they all taste the same. They'll be another addition to our salads if we like them. I also want to try eating dahlia tubers and hope to grow loads this year. Again, I'll see whether the different varieties taste different.

Oooh, I do love a taste test Cherie! It'll be really interesting to see what you make of the flavours. I have tried canned hostas from an asian supermarket, but never the dahlia tubers I grow. Lulu x
