A few days ago I ordered a trio of citrus trees from Amazon. They are just as I expected them to be but I do know that they will fly away now that I have potted them on. I'm particularly pleased with the lime tree as it's something I have wanted for a very long time. The lemon and orange have tiny new leaves on but the lime isn't showing any sign yet. It'll be interesting to watch them as they grow and develop.

I had no luck with citrus - I don't really have very green fingers, sadly!

I hope they work out for you. I can never really count on citrus. They either grow for me or they die.
ReplyDeleteI'm only growing them for the novelty value as I very much doubt that I'll get any fruit. Having said that, my Calamondin orange produces loads though the label says it's ornamental. I need to check and see whether they are edible. The blossom is worth growing the tree for a the scent is gorgeous.
