I've never grown these before and am delighted to see it flowering. I intend to collect the seed and see if I can grow some baby flytraps.
And I've just sown some Swiss chard, beetroot, pretty kale and Florence fennel. It's time to look ahead to the autumn and winter growing season now.
You're doing well to have kept the Venus fly-trap alive and looking so healthy. I have never been able to keep them for more than a couple of months.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise they are such thirsty plants. I keep watering it with water from my pond.
DeleteYou have such very green fingers - it looks incredibly healthy. xx
ReplyDeleteI must remember to water it though. It's a very thirsty plant.
DeleteWow, I've never seen one in flower. It must love the swamp water! Please do not stand too close, it'll have your fingers off :0 ;) x
ReplyDeleteI've managed to collect some seeds if you'd like some
