Sowing and harvesting

The other day while shopping in Lidle I picked up a packet of round squash seeds.  They mature in 45 days so I thought it worth chancing my arm and sowing some. They only cost 29p so it's hardly going to break the bank if it's a bit late and who knows? Maybe I'll get a decent harvest of courgettes.  Next time I visit Lidle I intend to buy some more seeds as I didn't realise they are so cheap.  I've also placed an order for a a few different varieties of seeds so when they arrive I'll be sending some off to Lulu over at Long Mizzle garden.  There's plenty in the packets to share and it'll be interesting to see how our harvests compare next year.  Lulu had better success with the White Wonder cucumbers than I did but I have had a great crop of Crystal Lemon cucumbers. I've ordered some mini white cucumbers and a few different things that I haven't grown before.  I'll do an update when they arrive and show you what I've bought.
