This morning I have turned a huge pile of tomatoes into fermented ones. They obviously won't be ready for a week or two but I really needed to get on a deal with the tomato mountain as so many of them were going rotten and I hate to see food wasted. Then I set to and prepped some to dry in the oven and that's where they are now. I left the yellow ones whole but halved the red ones. As soon as they are properly dried I shall pack them into jars and cover them with olive oil. They will be a welcome addition to the pantry.
