Yesterday I decided that I'm fed up of the grass and finally got around to doing something about it. I put down a thick layer of cardboard directly onto the grass and then moved my three cold frames onto the cardboard. I covered any visible cardboard with a thick layer of pine chippings but unfortunately I ran out of both part way through the job. I'll get some more tomorrow and finish it off.
