I shredded a few Brussels sprout leaves, a couple of Kale leaves, some Pak Choi and a couple of leaves from the Rainbow chard. I used the mid ribs too and added to them a stir fry for tea this evening. With a bit of luck the onions, red pepper and garlic will all be home grown next year too

DeleteI love it when I can manage to make a meal totally from our own produce. I get such a sense of satisfaction : ) Mind you, we keep hens too, so it is easier to produce a completely homegrown meal occasionally.
ReplyDeleteI am exactly the same. It doesn't come any fresh that just picked five minutes before being cooked. I'd love to keep chickens but we just don't have the space. I will stick to growing veggies
