It's lovely to be able to wander through my veggie plot picking a bit of this, that and the other. I've just put Tony's salad lunch boxes up and virtually everything in there was picked moments ago from our garden. I can't wait for summer when we are able to harvest tomatoes, cucumbers and fresh beetroot to add to the usual mix. I'm hoping to be able to make my own sauerkraut from cabbage grown in one of my raised beds this year.

In a week or two I will be adding fresh pea shoots as mine are coming along really well. The carrots on top of the log store are all starting to sprout now and I intend to sow some more each month so that from mid summer onwards we will be able to eat baby carrots in the salads.
That's a cracking salad harvest Cherie for this time of year. Well done! Looks tasty. Lulu x
