We've spent the past few days recovering from my son's wedding and it's time to return to working in my garden. It was lovely to go out and pick tasty fresh veggies and toss together a nutrient dense salad after a bit of a lapse in our healthy eating habits of the past few days. The cucumber is one of the last few in the fridge and I added tomatoes and a red pepper from my store. The addition of a shop bought , fennel bulb, ripe avocado and a handful of king prawns has made a lovely light tea for tonight and lunch tomorrow.
Aren't those rainbow chard and pak choi beautiful. The carrots taste absolutely amazing and I'll definitely grow them again next year.
Such beautiful produce. xx
