I happened to mention that I'm having a 'no spend year'  and he's just gifted me a membership to his you tube channel. Steve always takes the time to reply when he is asked a question and I have learned so much from him this past year. My veg garden is so much more productive after watching his videos and I've tried veg I'd never even heard of before thanks to this lovely kind man. Gardeners are such wonderful people. 

Tony's back at work today and we are back to eating fresh picked salad boxes. It will do us both the world of good to get into some sort of routine. I'd hoped to have a couple of hours out in the garden today but the weather has changed and it's bitterly cold and frosty out there.  It's to be expected given that it is after all January but the mild weather we've had lately had lulled me into thinking I'd be able to get some gardening done as soon as himself  went back to work.   Roll on Spring.
