This morning I have planted out a couple of courgettes and three butternut squash. I've never grown the butternuts before so it will be nice if we get a decent harvest. I planted the courgettes out because they were starting to look a bit sickly in the porch and the one I planted outside the other week is looking really healthy. If frost or really cool temperatures are forecast I'll cover them with fleece. I've ordered a trio of citrus trees from Amazon. A lime, a lemon and an orange and they are going to make the most beautiful conservatory plants. They can live outside during the summer months as soon as they are a bit bigger than I'm expecting them to be. I've wanted a lime tree for years and could never find a lime with pips in... then discovered that very few do in fact have pips.
